The Ideological Map of the Democratic Gubernatorial Primary

By virtue of campaigning, I have heard speeches and read websites of the recognized Democratic candidates for governor. I apologize to any person who is out there who is not on the list. As a candidate for office, I know just how frustrating dealing with an arbitrary and capricious media can be.
I will start with the most conservative. On the far right is Andrew White. His opening called for abandoning the culture wars, which translates to abandoning the trans community. He has called for continuing the ban on gender affirming care for trans youth despite the practical consequences of sentencing these children to a miserable childhood. ( if they survive it) and a satisfying transition. Out of fairness, it should be pointed out that he other mainstream candidates are taking the position of ignoring the trans community. Bobby Cole does acknowledge that the LGBT community should be allowed to exist, and he wins the designation as the farthest left of the three mainstream candidates.
The most conservative of the three mainstream candidates is Gina Hinojosa. Ironically, people assume she is the most liberal of the three mainstream candidates, as she is a woman and from Travis County.
Of course, since you are reading the Sparkle website, you already know that she is the Far Out island, which sounds like somewhere that Maynard G. Krebs of The Dobie Gillis Show would live.
