Amaging Performance a Go - August 11

Amaging, the show featuring 5 LGBTQ storytellers - all older than 65, is set for a one-time performance at the Austin Public Library main branch. The show will be on August 11th and is free of charge. Candidate Governor Sparkle will be performing.

In my 2017 campaign for State Senate, I seemed to have trouble asking for help. The Democratic candidate in our district was appalled that I didn't ask for money from attendees at my announcement. There will be none of that this time around!  I have taken to singing the Temptations song "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" at every opportunity. 😊
