In Person EVENT - August 25th

The first Sparkle-hosted in-person event will be at the Ground Floor Theater on Monday, August 25th. Ground Floor Theater is located at 979 Springdale, and has a long history of supporting the community.

Sparkle Williams, when announcing the event, stated, "There will be musical entertainment. I can guarantee that. Making people listen to Sparkle blather on for a half hour without music would constitute cruel and unusual punishment. I have no desire to start my campaign by violating the Constitution."

Williams continued, "The MAGA plan always assumed that the LGBTQ community and its allies would either quietly leave the state or go back to our closets. What they didn't consider was just how annoying and obnoxious Sparkle can be when riled."

Williams predicts that this event on August 25th will be just the first of many. "MAGA has underestimated the will of the LGBTQ community. We are not going away. We have just begun starting to cause 'Good Trouble '".
