Why a Zoom Campaign?

I have heard a lot of criticism about my decision to put major reliance on Zoom.

I do understand that most of America has Zoom fatigue.

If I could rely on personal appearances, I would do so.


When I ran for State Senate in 2017 I had not heard of Zoom and drove an incredible amount of miles. That is not an option this time. I no longer have a car, and I don't have the finances to fund travel to the various regions of Texas.


I apologize in advance for relying solely on Zoom until Labor Day

In my 2017 campaign for State Senate, I seemed to have trouble asking for help. The Democratic candidate in our district was appalled that I didn't ask for money from attendees at my announcement. There will be none of that this time around!  I have taken to singing the Temptations song "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" at every opportunity. 😊
